Oral Pathology & Microbiology
The Department of Oral Pathology & Microbiology serves as the bridge between basic sciences and clinical dentistry. It focuses on the study, diagnosis, and understanding of diseases affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions.
Our department is equipped with advanced microscopes, histopathology labs, and diagnostic tools to train students in identifying oral diseases at a cellular level. Emphasis is placed on both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in tissue processing, staining techniques, and oral cancer screening.
Under expert faculty guidance, students gain insight into the microscopic structure of oral tissues and the pathological changes associated with various conditions—laying the foundation for accurate clinical diagnosis and treatment planning.
